The foundation for the company that would become Taylor Construction was laid in 2000 as a one-person contractor operation, completing small repairs and replacements for a single property management client. In 2006 in Calgary, there was a great need for quality general contractors, so the founder wished to build a company that would represent trust, integrity, and love and needed a fitting name. Warren Braaten, president and CEO, named Taylor Construction after his only daughter, and has strived ever since to ensure the company is always worthy to bear her name.

In 2009 Taylor Construction saw significant growth and change, with the addition of a new owner in July. Dan Bourgault brought an engineering background to his role as acting Vice President at Taylor Construction. Now building on our rich history of past projects completed with quality, we are able to focus on the new ventures on our horizons. We at Taylor Construction are focused on building lasting relationships first, and profits second. Our number one goal on every project we do, big or small, is customer satisfaction.
